Community leader joins the ranks at Chernoff Newman
Liz is well-connected. Not only did she just come off of a stint of managing the Chamber’s Leadership Columbia and the Leadership Columbia Alumni Association programs, she is also an active donor and Steering Committee member for the United Way of the Midlands’ Young Leaders Society (YLS), serves on the Women in Philanthropy (WIP) communications committee and is a 2017 Blueprint for Leadership candidate. She is also a member of the Junior League of Columbia, Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR) and the My Carolina Alumni Association. Liz has her master’s degree in public administration from the University of South Carolina.
So, like we said, she’s very much tapped into the Columbia community of movers and shakers. But she also knows her way around the Charleston scene. That’s because Liz received her bachelor’s degrees in business administration and hospitality and tourism management from the College of Charleston.
Here at the agency, Liz will help develop and execute public relations and integrated communications strategies and services. A Virginia native, she spends her free time – when not volunteering, of course – on the water, exploring restaurants and running when the heat index is less than 100 degrees. She loves horses and is looking for a farm to volunteer (yes, more volunteer time!) her time helping kids with special needs learn to ride.
