Chernoff Newman is looking for a detail-oriented person to join our growing Finance team. Someone who enjoys working with numbers and problem-solving would be a great candidate for this new role. Our ideal candidate will possess the business and technical knowledge to respond to inquiries from clients, team members and vendors. Ultimately, our financial project managers are expected to coordinate financial activities and recommend improvements and efficiencies to the financial process of the agency.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Client invoicing and billing
- Monitoring client estimates and budgets
- General ledger analysis and reconciliation
- Accounts payable
- Media liability reconciliation

Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a discipline of Accounts Payable, Billing and/or Reconciliations
- Project management experience is a plus
- An astute knowledge of accounting principles to help inform key decisions
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on cross-functional collaborations
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- High sense of urgency in completing tasks and assignments
- Acute attention to detail and strong organizational skills
