Did you know that South Carolina is ranked 16th in the nation for cardiovascular deaths? Or that heart disease and stroke are the number one and number four killer of all Americans? Chernoff Newman wanted to get the word out there and start promoting a healthier lifestyle!
Tomorrow, March 22, 2014 the American Heart Association is expecting over 5,000 Midlands participants in the annual Heart Walk. Team Chernoff will be out in full force walking with dogs, family and friends; repping our Midlands Heart Walk t-shirts of course. And all you Top Walkers, you get the distinction of wearing a shirt designed by our very own Meredith Walker. The event will be held at the Colonial Life Arena in downtown Columbia beginning with activities at 8 a.m. and concluding with a 3-mile, family-friendly walk at 9 a.m.
Thanks to all our business counterparts for help getting word out about the walk along with donations, especially Grace and Lamar outdoor who both so generously donated slots on their boards since January to help promote the walk!
