It’s one thing to read a press release or watch a video about what an armored  vehicle is designed to withstand. But it’s another matter entirely to be there while someone tries to blow one up.

Working with Force Protection, Inc., we took a group of reporters to the company’s blast range in Edgefield, SC. They got an up close and personal look at some of Force Protection’s MRAPs (Mine Resistant Ambush  Protected) vehicles in action as technicians conducted blast tests to showcase the company’s advanced designs and survivability solutions for U.S. troops .  Here’s a little taste of what they saw (embed FPI video clip with link to Aiken Standard article).
