Sara oversees the agency’s channel strategy, driving audience segmentation and ensuring alignment between brand, strategy and campaign implementation. For over 20 years, Sara has worked to understand audiences, how they experience and interact with brands and how best to spur them to take action.
After graduating from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Advertising, Sara began her career at a boutique media agency where she developed a passion for market research and analysis and stringent accountability before first joining Chernoff Newman in 2008. Sara most recently was the director of advertising at Flock and Rally, an integrated marketing communications firm, where she managed the firm’s advertising and media buying offerings before rejoining Chernoff Newman in 2023.
Sara has put her strategic prowess to work for local, regional and national clients such as BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, the South Carolina Education Lottery, the Florida Department of Agriculture, NTT DATA and the South Carolina State Fair. She has served on the board of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) of the Midlands and is a member of the 2016 class of Leadership Columbia and the Leadership Columbia Alumni Association.
