We’ve stepped into the new decade bigger than before, with a handful of new teammates representing public relations, account management, media and digital teams. We’re thrilled to have this talented group on board and hope you’ll enjoy learning a little more about each one of them.
Alicia Broughton joined as a public relations and social media specialist in the Charlotte, N.C., office. With four years of experience in social media and public relations, Broughton brings a variety of communications insights to Chernoff Newman. Most recently, she was a freelance marketer helping a handful of small businesses establish and grow their social media presence. Prior to that, in her role as a social media account executive at The Brandon Agency, she serviced multiple hospitality & tourism, food & beverage and e-commerce clients. Broughton earned her bachelor’s degree in communications at Clemson University.
Devon Kirk joined as a digital project manager in the Columbia, S.C., office. With a background in marketing, Kirk has nearly 15 years of experience in corporate communications, event management, email marketing and marketing operations. Most recently, Kirk was the director of marketing at GetPayroll where she ran day-to-day marketing operations and managed the sales and marketing teams. Additionally, she was a small-business owner for seven years and recently published her secrets to success in a book, now available on Amazon. Kirk graduated from Immaculata University with a bachelor’s degree in information technology in business and is currently enrolled in a master’s program through Southern New Hampshire University to obtain a master’s in digital marketing.
Nick Murray joined the account services team as an account manager in the Charleston, S.C., office. With a background in business development, Murray brings with him three years of experience from his time at Push Digital, LLC. Murray also has two years of experience as a legislative assistant, which he gained during his tenure at the University of South Carolina where he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Clyde Sanchez joined as a front-end developer in the Charlotte, N.C., office. With a decade of experience in technology-focused web development, Sanchez brings a deep understanding of the creative process and user behavior to Chernoff Newman. Previously, Sanchez worked at The Idea People as a front-end developer working in an Agile development environment. Sanchez received a bachelor’s degree in digital gaming design from ITT Technical Institute after his time in the U.S. Army.
Caroline Sievers joined the media team as a media planner/buyer in the Charleston, S.C., office. With a background in media, Sievers brings four years of experience to Chernoff Newman. Most recently, she was a media buyer for The Brandon Agency in Charleston, where she developed, placed and managed media plans for e-commerce, telecom, real estate and B2B clients. Sievers graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
