You know it when you see it… it’s all business in the front and party in the back. It’s actually hard to look away from the properly coiffed mullet. So what does that have to do with Chernoff Newman? No – we don’t want to bring back the mullet. (Did it really ever leave?) Instead, we want to hire someone with two distinct talents – the keen ability to provide strategic marketing direction (the business) and the sense to successfully manage relationships with our clients (the party). See? It is totally kind of the same.

In all seriousness, our Account Managers are rock stars and we’re looking for a new headliner. In this position, you’ll also be expected to bring relevant ideas to the table, supervise multimedia projects, create profitable results, think about the measurement of a project at the start of the assignment, present with conviction and play on a team that is made up of a multitude of agency professionals and personalities.

A couple of other things that we’re looking for:

  • a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism or something else that reflects your devotion to solid communications
  • a work ethic that doesn’t quit
  • an ability to manage the internal administration of accounts, like conference reports and/or other memoranda, work orders/instructions, etc.
  • a pulse of what’s trending now and what is to come, as well as full understanding of the advertising world of the past three decades
  • a mean air guitar
