Launching the S.C. state obesity action plan
We’re pleased to be a part of an important health initiative – launching our state’s obesity action plan. We’ve worked with the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control and representatives from the S.C. Obesity Council to create a website and other communications materials and plans to improve the health of all South Carolinians.
Agriculture Commissioner Hugh Weathers and DHEC director Catherine Templeton introduced the website and the plan at an event today at the S.C. State Farmers Market. Want to know more? Visit scaledown.org.
