An advertising industry veteran, Dan held previous assignments at powerhouses Weber Shandwick and Leo Burnett.
Attention is a valuable currency in our industry, and the ability to capture that attention hinges heavily on the strength and versatility of your creative team. To continue delivering engaging, meaningful work for our clients, nurturing and investing in our agency’s creative team has always been and continues to be a top priority.
That’s why we’re pleased to announce Dan Jividen as our new Group Creative Director. Based in the Charleston, SC office, Dan will serve across industry verticals and clients to lead our creative team in delivering cutting-edge creative work.
Dan started his career in advertising at Leo Burnett, working in a traditional capacity creating TV, print, video and digital ads for brands including Blackberry and Maytag. Following a role at Energy BBDO, he moved to Weber Shandwick, joining his former creative director from Burnett who had gone there to grow its Chicago creative team. At Weber, he combined his traditional advertising experience with an “earned-first,” public relations-centric approach, helping craft ideas for brands such as Ocean Spray and Save the Children before settling in as the creative lead of the Mars portfolio. The experience taught him just how nimble marketing creative could be, an insight he plans to foster here at Chernoff Newman as we continue to grow our creative team’s capacity for even bigger and bolder ideas.
Dan’s appointment represents a significant step forward for this agency. His extensive experience and forward-thinking approach are sure to bring fresh perspectives to the team, further solidifying our position as a leader in our field.
