Internships serve as a crucial stepping stone toward career readiness, acting as a catalyst for personal and professional development. At Chernoff Newman, we pride ourselves on curating internships that provide students with hands-on exposure to the agency environment to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application. That is the CN Experience.

By immersing themselves in the professional setting, our interns develop a deeper understanding of their chosen career path, learn to navigate challenges and build valuable networks with industry experts. As the fall semester draws to a close, we would like to thank our exceptional interns made invaluable contributions at our Columbia and Charleston offices.

Kamryn Bailey | Agency Immersion Intern, Columbia Office

As a junior at the University of South Carolina, Kamryn is heavily involved with on-campus activities including the USC chapter of the American Marketing Association. Kamryn holds experience with communication skills, social media management and strategic planning.

“I was drawn to Chernoff Newman because of the reputable legacy that it has in South Carolina and specifically Columbia. It was evident that Chernoff Newman invests in each student’s experience and passions, something that was important to me throughout the internship search.”

Sydney Hall | Client Engagement Intern, Columbia Office

Sydney, a second-semester intern with Chernoff Newman, is a senior at the University of South Carolina. As a visual communications major, Sydney came to us equipped with experience in creative, outreach and communications.

“As a summer media intern, I became interested in how everything was developed between teams and was thrilled to have been a part of the team for another semester.”

Keelin Sibley | Media Intern, Columbia Office

Keelin is a senior at the University of South Carolina working toward a degree in advertising. She has experience with event coordination, campaign management, media planning/buying and analytics.

“When looking into internship opportunities, it was the values of Chernoff Newman that caught my eye. I have been able to do real and important work that matters and had hands-on experiences with clients.”

Kaitlynn Weeks | Public Relations Intern, Charleston Office

As a third-semester intern for Chernoff Newman, Kaitlynn is a graduate student pursuing her Master of Arts at College of Charleston. By scheduling speaking arrangements for the Public Relations team, Kaitlynn has been able to reach students across the country.

“I have loved getting to learn from top-notch Public Relations professionals at Chernoff Newman and could not be more thankful to be a part of the team.”

Sophia Wurster | Public Relations/Social Media Intern, Columbia Office

Sophia joins us as a junior from the University of South Carolina, focused on business communication. Equipped with vast experience in event planning, analytics, writing and public relations, Sophia has been able to hold various positions and lead her peers on and off campus.

“One thing I love about the CN Experience is that it gives hands-on client work to its students and works to build them up to be better prepared for life post-grad.”
