Rick Silver

A founding member of Chernoff Newman, Rick uses his decades of expertise in research methodology and analysis, opinion polling, crisis management and public relations to find the perfect solution for each client. He is known for his targeted, rapid responses and sense of urgency for crisis communications—a skill he developed after working as an aide for two lieutenant governors. He specializes in the arenas of litigation, energy, healthcare, environmental education and transportation.

Rick serves the Columbia community he knows and loves in many ways. He has been president of the Columbia Jewish Center, vice chair of communications for the Columbia Chamber of Commerce and served as a dedicated board member to the Columbia Jewish Federation and the Columbia Jewish Center.
