The Situation
While Florida’s nursing workforce is expanding, only 7.2% of nurses in the state are under age 30. It’s a segment unenthused by the prospect of the career, seeing it as a narrow, traditional, and limiting role. That’s a problem for the long-term sustainability of the profession as retirements increase in the coming years.
The Insight
If scrubs are the defining symbol of nursing, then you need to redefine scrubs.
The Solve
Crafted to elevate the profession, smash stereotypes, and drive new interest, “For Every Need, There’s A Nurse” tackles the perceptions head-on – revealing the many layers, nuances, and opportunities that a career in nursing holds. Launched to coincide with National Nurses Week (May 6-12), the campaign brings the message to life by featuring nurses in a variety of real-world settings doing what they do best: meeting people where they are and serving critical needs. The fully integrated effort spans connected TV, streaming radio, OOH, and digital and social media.
