Chernoff Newman expands Client Engagement team with two seasoned professionals

New faces in the Columbia office bring passion and years of experience to the agency

Our business is built around our clients, so it’s fitting that building our client engagement team has led recent agency expansion. Chernoff Newman has introduced a client engagement supervisor as well as a client engagement manager to better serve our clients in achieving their business goals. Filling those positions are two highly respected professionals in the Columbia community, both holding extensive marketing and public relations experience: Erin McBride and Chardonnay Ismail.

Erin McBride, Client Engagement Supervisor

We are pleased to welcome Erin McBride, a graduate of Florida State University, as client engagement supervisor. She is joining the team with 16 years of experience, and previously served as a senior regional marketing manager for Publix Supermarkets. In this role, Erin implemented regional, consumer campaigns to build equity and drive sales. Beyond her career, Erin’s passion for her community is shown through her service in Junior League of Columbia, where she is the event chair for their program Healthy Kids in Transitions. In her new role at Chernoff Newman, Erin will implement communication strategies to ensure the success of her clients, including South Carolina Department of Agriculture.

Chardonnay Ismail, Client Engagement Manager

Chardonnay Ismail has joined Chernoff Newman as a client engagement manager. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, she holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations, a graduate certificate in business analytics and a master’s degree in business administration. Additionally, Chardonnay was in the American Advertising Federation’s Most Promising Multicultural Students Class of 2017. Chardonnay joins the client engagement team with more than six years of experience, including overseeing all marketing campaigns for the University of South Carolina’s Alumni Association, as well as serving as the social media marketing coordinator of USC’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Chardonnay will bring extensive knowledge to her clients in her new role — including South Carolina Education Lottery — managing their marketing and strategic communications campaigns while simultaneously ensuring all efforts align with client objectives.
