Grassroots Engagement

Homeowner and neighborhood associations were tapped to solicit community feedback on the project design and construction impacts, as well as to host general information meetings with project representatives and residents.

A hyper-local community gathering was hosted to discuss project use of county-owned common space in a tight-knit neighborhood, which drew tremendous participation and ultimately led to a compromise that was beneficial to all interests.
